Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Susan Myres has over 35 years of experience practicing family law in Harris County and the Greater Houston area. Susan works closely with all of her clients to develop a legal strategy that best fits her client's goals and needs. Her background in business studies allows her to work through complex issues involving the characterization and valuation of a business, closely-held business interests, characterization of property, financial documentation, and the interplay with the marital estate. Susan utilizes all forms of dispute resolution methods to develop creative solutions to her client's dilemmas. From supporting clients who have worked out their agreements, mediation, arbitration, collaborative law, and traditional litigation, Susan focuses on using techniques that are the right fit for the client. She and her team are known for establishing close cooperation with their clients, working together to reach solutions that are in the best interests of the client and their children. Frequently, Susan lectures on cutting edge family law topics, locally and nationally.
