Hill Jeffries' practice is focused on a variety of corporate finance transactions, including U.S. and international capital markets offerings, as well as mergers and acquisitions, securities regulation, corporate governance, and the general representation of public and private companies. Mr. Jeffries represents companies and investment banking firms in a wide variety of corporate finance transactions. He has completed over 100 public offerings, including 25 initial public offerings, having an aggregate value of over $140 billion. Mr. Jeffries also represents public and private companies in merger and acquisition transactions. He has completed over 40 mergers, acquisitions and dispositions with consideration of over $10 billion. He also advises boards of directors and committees of directors on fiduciary duties and liabilities, change in control issues, anti-takeover strategies, crisis management, corporate governance, compliance and ethics. Mr. Jeffries is regularly listed in a number of national and local publications as a leading corporate attorney, including Chambers USAand The Best Lawyers in America, which named Mr. Jeffries "Atlanta Lawyer of the Year" in securities law for both 2011 and 2013. BTI Consulting Group named Mr. Jeffries a 2016 ”Client Service Super All-Star.“ Mr. Jeffries is the past leader of the firm's Corporate Transactions & Securities Group, former head of the firm’s Securities and Capital Markets Practice and former co-leader of the firm's overall corporate practice.
