Kathrin Kinzer-Ellington has practiced law in New Mexico since 1988. She practices in all aspects of property law, including divorce, property division, and business valuation as well as real estate boundary disputes and title disputes. Ms. Kinzer-Ellington is a Board Certified Family Law Specialist. She represents clients in actions involving divorce, child custody, interstate jurisdictional issues, tracing of assets, asset valuation, business valuation, child support, spousal support, apportionment of separate and community property, paternity, pre-nuptial agreements, enforcement of court orders and property agreements, guardianship, and adoption. Ms. Kinzer-Ellington also represents Estates in probate actions and represents individuals where there are allegations that a deceased person's Last Will and Testament is unfair or was procured under the improper influence of an heir. Ms. Kinzer-Ellington represents land owners in land title disputes and land boundary disputes. Ms. Kinzer-Ellington is a past Chair of the Family Law Section of the New Mexico State Bar and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Litigation Section of the State Bar. She is a member of the Santa Fe Estate Planning Council, The Association of Family and Conciliation Courts and American Inns of Court.
