Julianne C. "Julie" Ray

Julie Ray is a shareholder in the firm’s Real Estate, Business, and Banking and Financial Services Practice Groups. She also serves as Chair of the Real Estate Practice Group. Ms. Ray has been providing business advice to clients for over thirty years. Her practice includes all aspects of real estate law, including representation of large and small business entities, individuals, nonprofit organizations, and utilities in commercial real estate development, including resort and hospitality development; acquisitions and sales; leasing; residential and commercial condominium developments, including interval and timeshare ownership projects, and dockominiums; and real estate financing. Ms. Ray’s business practice focuses on advising clients in a broad range of transactional settings, including entity formation and restructuring, stock and asset sales and acquisitions, complex contract negotiations, financing, and the provision of general business advice to a variety of businesses. Ms. Ray also represents lenders, including local and national banks, in commercial loan transactions. Ms. Ray also has extensive experience representing financial institutions and other lenders in commercial and residential real estate foreclosures and assisting creditors with protecting and realizing on personal property collateral, including strict foreclosures.
