Jessica Davis represents regional and national lenders in commercial loan originations, including single-lender, agented, and syndicated loans, as well as debt offerings and private placements. She also represents banks and equipment finance companies on equipment loan and lease originations, leveraged leases and lease acquisitions. Her commercial lending practice encompasses a wide variety of transactions, including multibank/ multi-borrower loans, senior and mezzanine financings, secured and unsecured loans, lending to Native American tribes, and financings of acquisitions and mergers. Her recent deals have included financing for several high-profile projects, including professional sports arenas and a NBA franchise’s practice facility. Ms. Davis has expertise in inventory finance including representation of lenders in connection with floor plan facilities, particularly with a focus on large syndicated floor plan facilities for national dealer chains as well as account receivable sales and short term account receivable lending platforms. She has also represented borrowers, including several private equity firms, in structuring and documenting acquisition loans as well as loans made to portfolio companies and private equity funds. Ms. Davis has previous experience in bond transactions as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, bank counsel and corporate counsel for both taxable and tax-exempt bonds. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the State Bar of Illinois
