James E. "Jim" Vann

Jim Vann is president, board member and shareholder of Dentons Sirote in Alabama, where he is a member and former chair of the Dentons Sirote Real Estate practice group. In his practice, Jim represents banks and other lenders in connection with all types of lending, including commercial and industrial loans, as well as real estate loans. He also represents developers and owners of multi-family and other commercial real estate in the acquisition, sale, leasing, and financing of such properties. Jim practiced as a Certified Public Accountant prior to attending law school and has extensive experience in structuring and drafting financial covenants and loan documents as counsel for both lenders and borrowers. Serving as general counsel, Jim advises clients on a broad range of issues.
