About James
Jim Wall represents entrepreneurs and businesses in a wide array of transactions and governance issues. He has significant experience representing health care providers and other clients in the health care field including owners and managers of long-term care facilities, management service organizations, providers of clinical research and local management entities. He has extensive experience helping providers and MSOs navigate North Carolina’s corporate practice of medicine doctrine. He also has assisted health care entities address recapitalization and insolvency issues. Additionally, Jim assists executives in connection with their employment relationships, including negotiation of employment and separation agreements.Prior to being a founding member of Waldrep Wall Babcock & Bailey PLLC, Jim founded and managed Wall Babcock LLP. Prior to that, Jim practiced as a partner with Kilpatrick Stockton in its corporate and health care departments. Earlier in his career, Jim was a shareholder and director of Bell, Davis & Pitt, P.A. where he practiced in the firm’s corporate, health care and insolvency sections.Jim is a 1986 graduate of the College of William and Mary, where he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma, the national business honor society. He is a 1989 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law. He is admitted to practice in North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia.
