About
Glenn is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, and a member of the firm's Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Distressed Investing Practice Group. He regularly represents creditors in out-of-court workouts, bankruptcy cases, and litigation. Glenn also has substantial experience in representing mortgage servicers and other financial institutions in mortgage-related litigation in bankruptcy courts. Glenn practiced at two large Birmingham firms in their bankruptcy and creditors’ rights areas before joining Bradley Arant Boult Cummings in 2008. Glenn’s practice involves a significant amount of workouts and restructurings for banks and other creditors involving direct negotiations with borrowers, continuing to represent his clients when the borrower files bankruptcy. He also represents banks and creditors in litigation when necessary. Glenn also regularly represents creditors in litigation in bankruptcy courts, with significant experience in and understanding of complicated jurisdictional issues involved in removal to and remand from bankruptcy courts. This representation has recently involved several mortgage servicing clients in bankruptcy courts. Glenn also frequently represents creditors in substantive bankruptcy litigation, including proceedings that involve preferences, fraudulent transfers, nondischargeability, relief from stay, and lien priority and avoidance issues. Finally, while less extensive, Glenn has also represented Chapter 11 debtors in large bankruptcy reorganizations. Glenn has obtained numerous successes in the past several years by assisting his creditor clients in obtaining payment in full and defeating lender liability claims raised by borrowers.
