Eduardo S. Espinosa

Eduardo Espinosa is an experienced court-appointed fiduciary frequently recommended by regulators where dissipation of assets is a concern. A former enforcement lawyer with the U.S. Securities and ExchangeCommission (SEC), Eddy has served as either the receiver, receiver'scounsel, or trustee, in various federal and state proceedings in the life settlement sector, fraudulent securities offerings, EB-5 offerings, and commercial litigation. Eddy also advises clients on the legal and regulatory aspects of their commercial opportunities. His transactional practice covers the full enterprise lifecycle, including: formation, capitalization,governance, domestic and international transactions, mergers andacquisitions, reporting requirements, regulatory enforcement and liquidation or reorganization. Eddy serves on the board of the Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation. Eddy represents buyers and sellers in energy,telecommunications, healthcare, food, real estate services, manufacturing,and financial services sectors. He has advised issuers, underwriters, brokerdealers, investment advisers and investment companies regarding securities offerings and regulatory compliance matters. He has represented market participants before the SEC, the Texas State SecuritiesBoard and the Financial Industry regulatory Authority (FINRA). He complements his legal skills with a Master in Business Administration anda prior career in managerial accounting.
