Donna M. Genovese, Esq. is a partner of GOLDSCHMIDT & GENOVESE, LLP. Ms. Genovese has dedicated her practice to the field of matrimonial and family law for over thirty-five (35) years. Ms. Genovese’s experience includes all aspects of matrimonial matters, including negotiation, litigation and drafting of separation and settlement agreements. Ms. Genovese is also trained in the Collaborative Law, Mediation and Arbitration processes. Ms. Genovese regularly handles complex matrimonial matters which include issues involving child custody, support and valuations. Ms. Genovese practices primarily in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam Counties as well as Orange, Dutchess, Bronx and New York. Ms. Genovese is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers; past Co-Chair of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Collaborative Law Committee (2019 – 2023); member of the Board of Governors of the New York Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (2022 – present, 2018 - 2021, 2014 -2016 and 2008 - 2011); past Vice President of New York Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (2021 and 2017- 2018); listed in The Best Lawyers in America (2008 - present); and New York Super Lawyers (2008 - present); past President of the Rockland-Westchester Association of Collaborative Lawyers (2015 - 2020), past Vice-President (2007 – 2014) and past Treasurer (2005-2007); member of the New York and Connecticut State Bars; member of the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, New York State Bar Association Family Law Section, Westchester Bar Association, Westchester Bar Association Family Law Section, Westchester Women’s Bar Association and Rockland County Bar Association. Ms. Genovese has lectured for the Westchester County Bar Association, Westchester Women’s Bar Association, American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, co-authored a lecture for the New York State Bar Association, acted as Recent Decisions Editor for the Westchester County Bar Association, Family Law Section Domestic Law Review in the year 2009, certified as an AAML Arbitrator and Certified by the Appellate Division, Second Judicial Department, to participate in the Attorney for Children and Appellate Panels.
