David Steiner

David Steiner concentrates his practice in the areas of environmental law and business transactions. He assists businesses and individuals in real estate transactions with environmentally impacted real estate, brownfields, redevelopment and tax-free exchanges. David has extensive experience with handling business transactions that involve formation, acquisitions, sales and contracts. David works with clients to acquire, sell and lease real estate across the Midwest and Southeast. He has represented purchasers, sellers and lenders in transactions involving environmentally impacted commercial properties. Through these representations he has gained valuable experience handling all aspects of real estate due diligence including environmental risk assessment, land use, title insurance, survey and mortgage financing matters. In addition, David has represented business and individuals in negotiating and resolving environmental claims with state and federal regulators and in negotiating and settling environmental insurance claims.
