David A. Martland

David Martland is the Practice Group Leader of our M&A and Corporate Transactions practice group, which includes our nationally recognized Mergers and Acquisitions, Venture Capital and Sophisticated Business Transactions practices. David is chair of the Board of Trustees of Historic New England, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving New England buildings, landscapes and objects dating from the 17th century to the present. What do you focus on?I counsel private and public companies on the full range of corporate matters. I also represent a variety of private equity and venture funds in connection with their investments. In addition, I represent corporate and health care clients on antitrust matters. I have successfully tried multiple antitrust cases and have handled hundreds of antitrust investigations conducted by federal and state regulators of mergers and other matters.
