Danya Bundy

Danya Bundy represents private clients in prenuptial agreements and family law disputes involving child custody, alimony, child support, and domestic violence claims. Fluent in Arabic and German, she advises on international matters, including Hague treaty child abduction claims. Danya is one of few attorneys in private practice with first-chair jury trial experience defending parents in parental rights cases. She has tried six jury trials to verdict. Danya has completed numerous advocacy programs, including the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers' Institute for Family Law Associates, the AAML / Harvard Law Negotiation Seminar for Family Law Lawyers, and the National Criminal Defense College's cross-examination workshop. In 2022, she completed the immersive 8-day trial advocacy program at the National Family Law Trial Institute, becoming one of only seven Oklahoma attorneys with the achievement. The following year, she returned for the Advanced Business Valuation course taught by expert valuator Jay Fishman and Judge Tim Madden. Her peers and judges recognize her for her work ethic and professionalism. Following a recent jury trial, an observer noted, "Danya did a fantastic job," and, "She clearly knew the case very well, the weak spots of the State's case and was an excellent advocate." She works with parents with mental health histories and substance abuse addiction challenges, and she represents domestic violence victims against their abusers. Her courtroom experience in those complex, high-stakes cases and her ongoing professional development and training make her a fierce advocate in the family court arena. Danya was a contributing author for the Chambers® Family Law 2023 guide, and she frequently speaks on topics affecting HNW individuals involved in divorce, such as above-the-guidelines child support. Danya is a top-flight family law practitioner.
