Danielle Humphries

Danielle C. Humphries, a partner in the firm’s San Diego office and Chair of San Diego’s Trusts & Estates practice group, is a trusted wealth advisor to her clients and their families through her trusts and estates work. The majority of Danielle’s practice focuses on trusts and estates, including estate planning, wealth transfer and preservation, business succession planning, trust administration, probate, and probate litigation. Danielle also has extensive experience representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in complex trust and estate administration and litigation. Her representation of fiduciaries includes advising both individual and corporate fiduciaries on risk mitigation and their duties and responsibilities in the course of administration of trusts and estates. Danielle’s wide range of experience has enabled her to serve as a general counsel or a legal back office for families, managing the multitude of issues that arise. As a trusts and estates attorney who often helps clients through personal issues during very sensitive periods in their lives, she has developed a reputation as a trusted advisor with the experience, insight, and sophistication to help navigate complex issues both from a legal and business perspective. Beyond her legal practice, Danielle is highly involved in the community through her support and mentoring of young lawyers, her pro bono work, and by her support of organizations that make a difference to children in need in San Diego. Danielle is an active Board Member and serves as the Chair of the Philanthropy Committee for Promises2Kids, an organization that serves the diverse needs of more than 3,000 San Diego foster children.
