Casey Campbell

Casey Campbell represents clients in wide variety of technical fields while helping them develop, enforce, acquire and license valuable patent and trademark rights. In addition to his enforcement and litigation experience, Casey develops and implements patent and trademark development strategies for clients before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and abroad. Casey has substantial experience successfully representing plaintiffs and defendants in district court litigations, inter partes review (IPR) proceedings, and U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) investigations. These experiences have included representations that are related to LED light fixtures, semiconductor, smartphone, wireless communications, and digital entertainment industries. In addition to his litigation experience, Casey has handled IP asset management, counseling and opinion work. He has performed due diligence investigations in connection with business acquisitions. Casey has also prepared and reviewed license agreements and joint development and confidentiality agreements. Additionally, he has prosecuted patent applications in the mechanical and electrical arts, including football helmets, lighting fixtures, exercise equipment and smartphone applications. Prior to his private law firm experience, Casey was a judicial extern for the ITC. He also worked as a lead mechanical and electrical engineer in the private sector before entering law school. Additionally, he researched and authored a number of publications relating to LEDs, transistors, sensors and low-temperature polymers.
