Brian Meegan

For over twenty-five years, Brian has represented U.S. and multi-national clients in their corporate matters, primarily on business transactions, such as: mergers/acquisitions, business formation and structure, contract negotiation, real estate, debt/equity issuance and shareholder/employee agreements. His firm, Evergent Law, is the exclusive Mergers and Acquisitions and Real Estate firm in Colorado for the IR Global legal network. Brian leverages his broad experience in business as an active entrepreneur in providing advice and counsel to clients. He is the founder of Watson Ltd., a back-office administrative support company, providing paralegal and other accounting support to law firms across the country and a co-founder of OnCall Cyber Ltd., a provider of cyber breach response services to companies. He also formerly served as General Counsel to a land and water development company in Colorado. Brian received a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Colorado at Boulder and his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado, School of Law. He has been a frequent speaker/presenter on mergers/acquisitions, international business and other corporate transactional subjects. Brian has been recognized as one of the "Forty Under 40" by the Denver Business Journal and was a three-time "Rising Star" by SuperLawyers Magazine. Brian is a movie buff, political and history nerd and hopelessly optimistic Colorado Buffalo sports fan. Prior to attending law school, Brian served as a Legislative Correspondent to a U.S. Senator in Washington D.C..
