Adam H. Tanker

Adam H. Tanker focuses his practice on all aspects of family law matters including alimony/spousal support, divorce, equitable distribution, marital agreements, child support, child custody and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Mr. Tanker is a former Deputy District Attorney for the Bucks County District Attorney's office where he served as Chief of the Asset Forfeiture Unit, and was assigned to the office's gangs, guns and drug unit. Mr. Tanker also acted as the office's community liaison for gang violence. Since 2013, Mr. Tanker has practiced exclusively in the areas of Family Law and Criminal Defense, and has worked at several top tier law firms in the area. Mr. Tanker is a seasoned litigator for those cases that cannot be resolved by agreement, and his effective trial skills serve his clients well, especially in high conflict custody cases. Mr. Tanker also handles criminal matters, and has significant experience with matters relating to driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Mr. Tanker has conducted presentations across the Commonwealth concerning Family Law matters, and has presented several legal education seminars in affiliation with the Bucks County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar institute. Mr. Tanker is a member of the Bucks County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Bucks County American Inn of Court, the Doris Jonas Freed American Inn of Court and the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Tanker, an Avvo Rated attorney, was featured in Suburban Life Magazine as one of the region’s top Family Law Attorneys in 2017 and was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer "Rising Star" in 2015, 2016 2017, 2018 and 2019. Mr. Tanker is a car enthusiast and an avid traveler. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, relaxing down the shore, sports, traveling, and cooking.
