Yuriy Korol

Professional ExperienceYuriy focuses his practice in the areas of land use, environmental law, and real estate. Prior to joining Helsell Fetterman, Yuriy worked as a litigator at a regional civil defense firm in Seattle where he advised and represented clients in a variety of personal injury and construction liability matters. He also has substantial experience with working for government regulatory agencies and arguing at administrative hearings. Though from the Tacoma area, Yuriy attended the University of St Andrews in Scotland where he received his undergraduate degree in Sustainable Development. Yuriy then moved to New York to pursue his law degree at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University. He demonstrated his passion for oral advocacy by participating in moot court competitions during all three years of law school which took him to competitions around the country. After receiving his JD with an advanced certificate in Environmental Law, he further specialized his knowledge of the law by earning his LLM degree in Environmental Law with a strong emphasis in Land Use. Outside of work, Yuriy is an avid soccer and tennis fan. He also enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest whenever he has the chance. He is currently working towards his Class A skydiving license.
