William D. "Bill" Aaron, Jr.

William D. Aaron, Jr. is the Managing Shareholder of the firm of Aaron & Gianna, PLC with offices in New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior to joining his current firm he was a Partner in the regional firm of Phelps Dunbar, LLP. Mr. Aaron is a graduate of Duke University and Loyola University School of Law. He is admitted to legal practice in Louisiana, Texas and the District of Columbia.Mr. Aaron has over forty (40) years of legal experience in the private and public sectors, and is a former City Attorney for the City of New Orleans, Assistant District Counsel for the U. S. Small Business Administration, Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Louisiana and Special Prosecutor for the Orleans Parish District Attorney's Office. He concentrates his practice in the areas of complex and high profile civil and commercial litigation, state and municipal government, professional liability, banking, insurance, real estate, constitutional law, legal ethics and general business. Mr. Aaron is a frequent lecturer on law and law related topics, and has served on the adjunct faculties of Loyola University’s College of Business Administration as well as its School of Law. Since 1991 he has served on the faculty of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) Trial Skills Program as well as its Deposition Program.Mr. Aaron is listed in the Best Lawyers in America, Louisiana Super Lawyers and Super Lawyers Corporate Counsel Edition. He holds an AV Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating.
