Will D. Pugh
About Will
Will Pugh represents clients in a wide range of practice areas including both litigation and transactional matters, spanning corporate, M&A, commercial real estate, and bankruptcy law. As a former-clerk for the Honorable Vice Chancellor Joseph R. Slights III on the Delaware Court of Chancery, Will has experience working on some of the largest corporate disputes in the world. Because of the Delaware Court of Chancery’s focus on business litigation, Will developed a specialization in business issues involving fiduciary duties and M&A law. Will regularly shares this experience with corporate boards by offering fiduciary duty training, and he frequently works on corporate governance matters. Will also regularly represents both buyers and sellers in commercial real estate and private M&A transactions, as well as general corporate governance counsel and entity formation services. Will also has experience representing creditors in bankruptcy matters in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Tennessee and, pro hac vice, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
