About Timothy

Tim Bush is a shareholder in Dentons Sirote’s Birmingham, Alabama office. He is a member of the Intellectual Property practice and leads the Dentons Sirote Intellectual Property team. Tim counsels clients in the complex areas of federal and state trademark registration, the licensing of trademark rights, and the protection of trademarks against infringement, including domain name and internet-related disputes. He also counsels clients on copyright registration, protection, and licensing, as well as software licensing. Tim advises clients on franchise disclosure compliance and franchisor/franchisee disputes. Beyond the scope of intellectual property, Tim's practice includes the formation of exempt organizations, the IRS exemption process, and exempt organization operational issues.
