Tim John Billick

Tim Billick is an intellectual property attorney based in Seattle, Washington. The founder of TBillick Law PLLC, Mr. Billick handles a diverse range of intellectual property disputes involving business litigation, entertainment contracts, information technology, patents and trademarks. A natural problem solver, he serves clients throughout the Seattle metropolitan area and is committed to helping individuals protect their creations. Mr. Billick advises clients on intellectual property subjects involving contracts, licensing, portfolios and trademarks. He also has extensive experience as a patent attorney, helping clients protect their inventions. He holds licenses to practice law before all Washington state courts and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.After earning a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, Mr. Billick received his law degree from the University of Washington School of Law. While pursuing his law degree, he served as an editor for the Washington Journal of Environmental Law and Policy and participated in the Washington Technology Law and Public Policy Clinic. Additionally, Mr. Billick gained legal experience during law school by working as an extern for a federal judge, as well as the Federal Trade Commission Bureau of Consumer Protection and the Snohomish County Prosecutor’s Office Criminal Division.Mr. Billick has given presentations on intellectual property law topics for the King County Bar Association and at the 2019 GeekGirlCon. He is a member of the Copyright Society of the USA, the International Trademark Association and Washington Lawyers for the Arts. He served as chair of the King County Bar Association Intellectual Property Section from 2016-2018. In addition to his legal career, Mr. Billick is also a musician and builder of electronic devices for musicians.
