Stella Shimamoto

Ms. Shimamoto is a graduate of Iolani School in Honolulu. She graduated from Boston University, dual majoring in English and Classical Civilizations and Michigan State University College of Law. She currently is serving as the Chapter Chair of the Hawaii Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (2018-present). Prior to being elected Chapter Chair, she served as Treasurer and Secretary of the Chapter. Before joining Hirota & Associates in 2012, she served as the fellow to the Alvin L. Storrs Low-Income Tax Clinic at Michigan State. Stella enjoys sports and follows her Michigan State Spartans (go green, go white!), as well as University of Hawaii sports. She loves dogs and enjoys reading and watching movies in her free time.
