The majority of his practice is focused on high net worth individuals and families with an emphasis on planning to minimize gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer taxes. Scott also represents individual and corporate trustees in litigation involving estates and trusts. He is a frequent author and lecturer on estate planning topics at seminars sponsored by ACTEC, The Missouri Bar, the University of Missouri-Columbia and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
