Roderic G. Steakley is a partner in Dentons Sirote’s Huntsville, Alabama office, serving as chair of the Dentons Sirote Government Contracts practice group. Rod represents clients in complex commercial litigation, general and government contracts, and business related tort cases. He handles intellectual property disputes, such as trademark and copyright infringement. He also represents businesses in corporate issues and disputes, including breach of fiduciary duty, governance, and misappropriation of corporate assets. Rod handles cases in state and federal courts, though he also engages in alternative dispute resolution through both arbitration and mediation. Rod has successfully litigated numerous jury and non-jury trials and administrative proceedings throughout the country representing a variety of companies across diverse industries, including aerospace and defense, construction, architectural and engineering services, information technology, energy, shipbuilding, and educational institutions.
