Born in Fullerton, California and raised in Houston, Texas. Served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps from 1994 until 2005, attaining the rank of Major. Left the U.S. Army to join LeClairRyan in Richmond, Virginia in the Business Litigation Group. Moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia in 2012, and now practices in the Virginia Beach, Virginia office of Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, LLP, where he represents clients in business, commercial, and corporate disputes. He has litigated disputes across a wide range of complex commercial, business, corporate and fiduciary duty, construction, insurance defense and coverage, land use and zoning, natural resource leases, and tort cases in federal and state courts.
