About Peter

Peter is an experienced, results-oriented business trial lawyer serving Southern California. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, insurance coverage and international litigation. Having practiced for more than 30 years, Peter has been listed since 2007 in Best Lawyers in America for both Commercial Litigation and Insurance Law. He has also been listed since 2007 as "California Super Lawyer" in business litigation. On Martindale-Hubbell, Peter has Peer Review Rating of AV® Preeminent, 5.0 out of 5.0. For the first phase of his career, he was with the international law firm of Loeb & Loeb, first as an associate, starting in 1980, and thereafter as a partner from 1987 to 2011. In that position, he handled significant litigation matters, primarily in the business and commercial arena, for businesses, companies and high net worth individuals. Following a long and successful career as a partner at Loeb & Loeb, he joined Troy Gould as a partner in that firm's litigation department. He also heads up the firm's insurance coverage and recovery practice. Peter is also a prolific writer, having published numerous articles in both domestic and international journals on subjects ranging from insurance coverage to international litigation. He has spoken and lectured on legal subjects before such organizations as CEB, PLI and the International Bar Association.Peter's core areas include litigation arising from real estate, financial services, business and commercial disputes and insurance coverage and recovery.
