About Pamela

Pamela Prather is special counsel in the Tax Practice Group. She focuses on probate and trust administration and estate planning. Pamela represents individuals with respect to trust and estate issues, estate planning, and estate and trust administration matters.After completing her undergraduate education at the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of accountancy, cum laude, Pamela received her legal education at The University of Mississippi School of Law, graduating cum laude, and at the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law, earning an LLM in Taxation. She is a member of The Mississippi Bar having served as chair of the Estates and Trusts Section. She has served as secretary-treasurer of the Taxation Section of The Mississippi Bar and as secretary and director of the Young Lawyers Division of The Mississippi Bar. She is a past editor of The Mississippi Lawyer and a former director of the Jackson Young Lawyers Association.
