Nicole focuses her practice primarily on professional liability defense for healthcare providers, including physicians, dentists, chiropractors, nurses, and others, as well as long-term care litigation. She handles a wide variety of claims, including those alleging negligence and lack of informed consent, as well as claims involving health care providers in administrative proceedings before their respective licensing boards. Nicole has successfully represented clients in all phases of civil litigation, including dispositive motion practice, mediation, and at trial. Nicole received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota, Morris and her law degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law. She completed a one year clerkship with the Honorable Robert A. Amundson, South Dakota Supreme Court, and has repeatedly been recognized as a Rising Star by Minnesota Law & Politics magazine. She is a member of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association and Minnesota Women Lawyers. Outside the office, Nicole enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
