About Michael

Michael Goodman is a founding member of the law firm of Goodman Allen Donnelly. He specializes in the representation of health care providers before their respective Professional regulatory boards and in hospital credentialing matters. Mr. Goodman has represented hundreds of health care providers throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia in medical malpractice claims and state board inquiries, giving him a unique depth and breadth of experience. American Association of Health Lawyers certified Mr. Goodman as a healthcare law mediator. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Richmond, T.C.Williams School of Law where he teaches Medical Liability Law and Bioethics. Mr. Goodman is a regular lecturer on health care and medical malpractice issues at VCU Medical Center and other health care facilities throughout Virginia. He has been recognized as one of Virginia's Legal Elite,Virginia Business Magazine, Virginia Super Lawyers and listed in Best Lawyers in America. In addition to his legal skills, Mr. Goodman is a talented cartoonist. He was regularly featured as an Editorial Cartoonist in the Richmond Times-Dispatch Sunday Business Section and has had his works nationally syndicated and published throughout the legal and business communities.
