About Matthew
Based in Houston, TX, Matt Moore is co-managing partner of Peckar & Abramson’s Texas offices and a member of the firm's Construction and Surety practice groups. His practice is focused primarily on the transactional, litigation and dispute resolution aspects of Construction Law. Matt represents general contractors, construction managers, sureties, owners, developers, and subcontractors in all phases of construction and on a wide variety of construction-related issues, including breach of contract, breach of warranty, mechanic’s liens, contractual and statutory indemnity, payment and performance bonds, collections, fraud, extra work, construction defects, contract termination, differing site conditions, bid protests, bid mistakes, delay and disruption claims, in both the public and private sectors. Matt also regularly reviews, drafts and negotiates construction contracts. Matt has been selected each year beginning in 2012 to the Texas Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists in the area of Construction Law. Matt is also among the first attorneys in Texas to become Board Certified in the area of Construction Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
