Matthew effectively and efficiently represents a wide range of individual and commercial clients, guiding them through the complex litigation process. Matthew is currently advising clients on – and litigating – force majeure provisions in commercial contracts, which are related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. He provides counsel to a variety of clients, including mining companies, banks, property owners, and developers. Matthew litigates, among other things, contract disputes, tort actions, and property disputes on behalf of business owners, corporate clients, individuals, and local, national, and international companies. Matthew's extensive courtroom experience extends to representing clients in various state and federal courts in Nevada and California as well as in arbitration and mediation proceedings. He is admitted to practice in Nevada and California, as well as before the United States District Court, District of Nevada, and the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Before joining the firm, Matthew was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Justice Cliff Young of the Nevada Supreme Court.
