He has handled construction issues for several clients, both as to construction quality and construction contracts. Steve assists in the preparation and review of resolutions and bylaws, attendance at board meetings, and input into policy and procedure creation and review. Steve provides clients with ongoing counsel regarding state and federal procurement regulations and statutes, and the review of contract terms with vendors and service providers. Steve is an active member of the Pulaski County, Arkansas and American Bar Associations. He served several terms as a Member of the House of Delegates for the Arkansas Bar from 1996 to 2013, and also was a member of the Board of Governors from 2003-2005. He is a past president of the Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel, and completed a 10-year term as a Commissioner for the Arkansas Commission on Child Abuse, Rape and Domestic Violence in 2013. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, where he served as Research Editor of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law Journal. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia.
