In 2012, Kelly served as President of the Bar Association of San Francisco. She is a member of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and the American Law Institute. The Daily Journal has selected Kelly as one of the top 100 attorneys in California, top 75 labor and employment lawyers in California, and top 100 women litigators in California. A San Francisco employee-side class action lawyer who has chaired the ABA labor and employment section

Kelly M. Dermody is managing partner of the San Francisco office of Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP, bringing civil rights and employment class actions on behalf of plaintiffs, plus individual cases of sexual abuse, harassment and trafficking. The profile lists a J.D. from the University of California Berkeley (1993) and an A.B. from Harvard University (1990). In our view this is real national standing for an employee-side lawyer: the profile describes a term as chair of the American Bar Association's Section of Labor and Employment Law. A natural fit for workers facing unequal pay, unfair promotion practices or harassment. Think you have a case? Start here.
