About Kate
Kate Patton is an Equity Member in the Nashville office whose practice focuses on the area of insurance defense, specializing in workers’ compensation claims. Throughout her practice, Kate has assisted in the litigation of hundreds of Workers’ Compensation claims from their inception through trial and appellate levels. She is a member of the ALFAI Workers’ Compensation Practice Group and ALFAI Future Leaders. Kate earned her law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Northern Kentucky University, in May of 2016, and was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in November of that year. She received her bachelor’s degree from Xavier University, with a B.A. in History and a minor in Political Science. While in law school, Kate worked for Liberty Mutual’s legal department and served as a Senior Associate Editor for the Northern Kentucky Law Review. Prior to joining Leitner Williams, Kate practiced law at a defense firm in Nashville. Kate is an active member of the Lawyers’ Association for Woman – Marion Griffin Chapter, Nashville and Tennessee Bar Associations, and Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association.
