About Justin

Justin W. Pimenta is a Partner of the law firm of Abrahamson & Uiterwyk. He is a highly accomplished trial attorney who cares deeply for his clients and the practice of personal injury law. Justin is twice board certified as an expert in civil trial law by the Florida Bar and The National Board of Trial Advocacy. He was appointed by the President of the Florida Bar to serve as a member of the Florida Bar Civil Trial Law Board Certification Committee for two terms from 2019-2025. The Committee is comprised of 12 board-certified trial lawyers who are responsible for writing and grading the tests that trial lawyers must take before becoming board certified. After resolving multiple seven-figure settlements on behalf of his clients, Justin was named a Lifetime Member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum®. Justin has been recognized by numerous top attorney rating services, including recognition for his work in personal injury litigation by The Best Lawyers in America®, Florida Super Lawyers®, and The National Trial Lawyers ”Top 100“ Florida. He began his practice twenty years ago with a large Florida insurance defense firm. Justin’s experience representing large corporations and insurance companies has given him insight into how the other side may be evaluating a case. He has now been exclusively representing injured clients for over fifteen years. Justin’s practice focuses on wrongful death; traumatic brain injury; serious automobile, trucking, and motorcycle accidents; slip and fall and premises liability; workplace accidents; maritime cases involving boating or cruise ship accidents; negligent security; and dram shop. Justin is active in many professional legal organizations including the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Florida Justice Association, Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association, and the Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute (SEALI). He is admitted to practice in all state and federal district courts in the State of Florida and the U.S. Tax Court. He graduated law school with honors from American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. He also obtained a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from American University’s Kogod School of Business. In his free time, Justin loves to travel with his wife Diania, who owns and operates Abora Travel Agency in Tampa. Justin has lived and studied in six countries, including Saitama, Japan; Madrid, Spain; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and Haifa, Israel. He is a member of the Traveler’s Century Club® and the All 50 States Club. Justin has travelled to over 140 countries and territories around the world. Travel gives Justin an opportunity to decompress from his busy trial practice and allows him to meet people of diverse backgrounds and cultures and be exposed to new experiences and adventures.
