Joseph A. Kromholz is one of the founding shareholders of Ryan Kromholz & Manion, S.C., located in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The firm, which traces its roots back to 1873, was formed in 1998 and practices in all areas of intellectual property law including related litigation. Mr. Kromholz is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin and before several appellate courts including the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Mr. Kromholz received his undergraduate degree in chemistry at Carroll College and law degree from Marquette University. Mr. Kromholz's practice emphasizes intellectual property litigation. Over the course of his career he has, on behalf of both Plaintiffs and Defendants, actively litigated cases in numerous jurisdictions across the United States, including, Wisconsin, Illinois, California, Florida, New Hampshire, Virginia, and in Washington, D.C. (before the International Trade Commission and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board). Joe has also successfully represented clients in numerous post-grant proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. With 25 years litigation experience Mr. Kromholz has been involved in a large variety of intellectual property cases covering a wide variety of technology and has successfully helped client's enforce their patent rights, as well as defend against charges of infringement.
