About John
John F. Kautzman represents individuals and organizations in a broad range of legal matters. He has been lead counsel on several high-profile state and federal jury trials and successfully argued before the Indiana Appellate and Supreme Courts. Mr. Kautzman served as the 2005 President of the Indianapolis Bar Association and was recently honored with the IBA Luminary/Lifetime Achievement Award. He is a former Chair of the Indiana University McKinney School of Law Board of Visitors. He also served as President of the Metropolitan Bar Caucus and Executive Council member of the National Conference of Bar Presidents. Mr. Kautzman is Listed in "The Best Lawyers in America" in the categories of Criminal Defense-General Practice and Professional Malpractice Law-Defendants, and as a several time Lawyer of the Year recipient. He is a frequent seminar speaker and trial advocacy instructor. John has also been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, limited by invitation to only 1 percent of the state’s attorneys.
