Jennette E. DePonte is a principal in the Dallas, Texas, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law and in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS), national and regional employers rely on Jennette for proactive strategies and strong policies to manage a wide range of employment-related issues. Jennette has represented employers before numerous federal and state agencies and in trials and appeals in federal and state courts, including in Texas. Jennette has handled OHSA investigations and violations, litigated tort and non-subscriber claims, workplace injury and death claims, employment-related torts, discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims, as well as civil rights claims under state and federal law. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Jennette served as an assistant attorney general in the U.S. Virgin Islands and served as assistant attorney general for the State of Texas in the Law Enforcement Defense Division, where she represented state law enforcement agencies and officials in employment and civil rights litigation and appeals.
