About Jason

Jason Pill helps businesses handle the entire spectrum of workplace issues. He advises on risk assessment, policy development, education and contract creation, and he represents clients in state and federal court when litigation becomes unavoidable. Jason’s long-term client relationships give him valuable insight into how business needs affect employment decisions. Working as an extension of clients’ HR department, he acts quickly to defect or minimize potential liabilities. Jason handles a wide range of matters, including: Discrimination claims Sexual harassment allegations Employee discipline and termination Wage and hour issues Whistleblower and retaliation cases Confidentiality and non-compete agreements In addition to counseling clients, Jason regularly appears in state and federal courts to represent a broad range of employers in the financial services, energy, retail, hospitality, health care, transportation, construction, engineering, and manufacturing industries. As cybersecurity and data privacy issues become increasingly important in the workplace, Jason also works with clients to manage the security and privacy of their data. And, if a cyber incident occurs, Jason has experience litigating and resolving complex state and federal data breach class action lawsuits. Jason stays active in his community through volunteering with numerous organizations including USA Climbing, the Climbing Wall Association, the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the YMCA, Paint Your Heart Out Tampa, the Gasparilla Music Festival, and the Lawyers Autism Awareness Fund.
