    About

    Jamie Huffman Jones is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group and a member of the Firm’s Management Committee. Jamie advocates for clients in jury and bench trials involving a variety of claims, including mass tort, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, business and commercial disputes, class actions, and automotive commercial disputes. Jamie handles FELA and regulatory litigation for the largest Class One freight railroad in the country and Section 1983/Constitutional litigation for municipal and county clients. She also handles property damage and personal injury claims for electric utility clients. Jamie has lectured extensively on issues surrounding electronic discovery and on online research at the Arkansas Bar Association’s Annual Meeting and Mid-Year Meeting, Eighth Circuit Practicum and Best of CLE. She was also interviewed by Arkansas Business concerning her views on electronic discovery. Jamie has extensive experience in responding to real-time catastrophic accidents and leading accident scene investigations and inspections, including for trains, motor vehicles, tractor/trailers, and electrical utilities. Jamie has extensive leadership experience in the community and the profession. She is currently on the Board of Directors for the American Heart Association and has been a past member of the Board of Directors for the Arkansas Arts Center, the Junior League of Little Rock, and the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Greater Little Rock. She is a Board of Governor for the Arkansas Bar Association, for the Arkansas Bar Foundation, and Treasurer for the Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel. Jamie was elected in 2016 to the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel and was recently selected to serve as Vice-Chair for the Amicus and Public Policy Committee. The Arkansas Bar Association awarded her the Presidential Award of Excellence in 2017 and the Golden Gavel Award in 2019 and 2020. She has been selected by her attorney peers for inclusion in Mid-South Super Lawyers and The Best Lawyers in America. In 2015, Arkansas Business named her one of the ”Best Lawyers“ in Business Litigation and, in 2017, the publication named her a ”40 Under 40.“
