James R. "Jim" Segerdahl

Mr. Segerdahl's practice encompasses a variety of complex litigation and related counseling matters in which he represents and advises clients regarding a wide range of commercial issues. He is a leading insurance coverage lawyer, designated in the area by "The Best Lawyers in America," and has represented Fortune 500 and other policyholder clients in significant matters involving hundreds of millions of dollars. Mr. Segerdahl has litigated on behalf of clients in jurisdictions across the country, has written and lectured extensively on insurance coverage and other issues, is a co-author of Policyholder’s Guide to the Law of Insurance Coverage (1997), a treatise published by Aspen Law & Business and updated annually, and served as executive editor of the Journal of Insurance Coverage (a quarterly publication of Aspen Law & Business published from 1998-2002). He serves as Vice Chairman and General Counsel of K&L Gates, and on its Management (Secretary) and Executive Committees.
