James Bartimus has over 35 years trial experience representing plaintiffs nationwide in complex medical negligence cases. Upon completing law school, Mr. Bartimus attended medical school for 3 years. He is listed in the Best Lawyers of America, SuperLawyer for both Kansas and Missouri and voted Best Medical Negligence Lawyer in Missouri. Mr. Bartimus is a Fellow of IATL, American College of Legal Medicine, currently serves on the Executive Committee as Vice President of the International Society of Barristers. He has been President of Civil Justice Foundation, Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, KC Metropolitan Bar Association, KC Metropolitan Bar Foundation, Missouri Institute for Justice, the regional chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and UMKC Law Foundation. Mr. Bartimus has taught as adjunct professor at the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law and adjunct faculty at the School of Nursing. He has lectured nationwide, in Europe, and Australia. Mr. Bartimus is founding partner of the law firm of Bartimus Frickleton Robertson Rader with offices in Missouri and Kansas.
