Jack R. ”Rob“ Dodson III focuses his practice on the construction industry, as well as energy and healthcare sectors. For more than twenty years, Mr. Dodson has represented clients in business disputes, negotiations and contract preparation. His clients engage him to represent them on legal issues across the country. As a result, Mr. Dodson has handled jury trials, negotiations of other legal issues in numerous states throughout the nation. Mr. Dodson advises general contractors, owners, and manufacturers in all stages of the construction process. He has addressed large design and construction defect claims, payment claims, bid protests and numerous other disputes arising in the commercial construction process. Mr. Dodson has prepared construction agreements for a number of his clients to protect against the risks of commercial construction. His clients have experienced fewer disputes as a result of the clarity of the contractual obligations of the parties. Mr. Dodson has particularly deep experience with construction in the healthcare industry, having represented facility owners in a broad range of construction issues which are further complicated by the regulatory requirements imposed upon healthcare facilities. Mr. Dodson has also represented numerous clients in the energy industry in construction, environmental and regulatory issues.
