J. Alexander "Alex" Prescott

J. Alexander (”Alex“) Prescott is a trial lawyer focusing on the representation of policyholders in insurance coverage disputes in a variety of insurance policies, including commercial general liability, professional liability, D&O, employment practices liability, commercial property, and builders risk policies. Alex also represents clients in business litigation matters and individuals in tort cases involving catastrophic injury. He has successfully litigated, including prevailing on dispositive motions, in state and federal courts in insurance coverage actions, breach of contract claims, construction claims, tort actions, and professional negligence claims. Prior to beginning his practice, Alex served as a law clerk for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Brian K. Epps in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. Alex was selected by his peers as a Super Lawyer – Rising Star in 2023 for Civil Litigation. Alex is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts within Georgia and South Carolina.
