Harry Trueheart, the firm’s Chairman Emeritus, focuses his practice on helping clients resolve business disputes, particularly international disputes, through litigation, arbitration and mediation. What do you focus on? Dispute Resolution I litigate a wide range of business disputes from investment, to M&A to competition, accounting and technology issues in courts and in arbitrations. I have particular experience in international arbitration, representing both businesses and governments in disputes involving major energy projects, development projects and privatizations among other matters. Arbitration I regularly serve as an arbitrator and mediator. I am a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators, an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and ICDR and a mediator for Federal Court sponsored mediation. I am a member of the Executive Advisory Committee of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution. TerraLex® In addition to my work for the firm’s clients, I am Chair and CEO of TerraLex®, a worldwide network of more than 155 leading independent law firms in 100 countries and 44 U.S. states, of which Nixon Peabody has been a member for over two decades. This work brings me into daily contact with lawyers and issues around the world.
