For more than three decades, Eric has represented high-profile clients in the healthcare, financial services, real estate and other highly regulated industries. He is known for handling contentious matters—product liability, construction/delay claims, employment and labor issues, antitrust claims and class action law suits to name just a few—and has a list of successes to show for it. Eric’s litigation strategies are always in support of his client’s overall business objectives which is why some of the nation’s largest companies including CenturyLink/Qwest, GlaxoSmithKline and Phillip Morris rely on him. His commercial litigation work involves everything from the simplest alternative dispute resolution procedures, American Arbitration Association claims and administrative hearings and trials, to jury and non-jury trials in state and federal courts. Eric is a practical commercial litigator committed to both preventing and resolving disputes so his clients can focus on what is most important to them—their business goals. A dedicated advocate for his clients, Eric also invests in the future of the firm serving as chair of Brownstein’s Litigation Group and as Albuquerque’s office managing partner. He also serves as a member of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee.
