Emily Ruzic handles complex business litigation matters, including non-compete and breach-of-contract cases; trade secret, trademark, and copyright infringement litigation; and Federal Trade Commission investigations. She works on a diverse range of matters for a variety of industries, including energy, insurance, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and real estate.A native of Birmingham, she earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from The University of Alabama School of Law, where she was a member of the Alabama Law Review and the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board. She was selected as an M. Leigh Harrison Award winner, a Hugo Black Scholar, and a member of Order of the Coif. Prior to law school, Emily attended the University of Georgia, earning a BBA in Finance and in Economics, cum laude.
