About Eli

Eli R. Rodrigues practices in the area of corporate law, representing and advising clients on U.S. federal tax and state and local tax matters. Mr. Rodrigues has experience advising U.S. clients on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, outbound tax planning and related income tax and estate planning matters, as well as advising foreign clients on their inbound investments in the U.S. and related income tax and estate planning matters. He regularly works in tax planning with respect to subpart F income, the acquisition and sale of U.S. real estate, corporate acquisitions and reorganizations, expatriations, transaction structuring, income tax treaty, tax controversy and compliance issues. Mr. Rodrigues received a J.D. and LL.M. in taxation, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. He also received an M.B.A. from the University of Miami Herbert Business School and a B.S.B.A., cum laude, from Boston University Questrom School of Business.
