About Edward

Edward Shohat is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group, where he focuses on white collar criminal defense. Edward focuses his practice on state and federal white collar crime and related forfeitures, as well as the defense of civil RICO cases and matters involving the US Patriot Act, Sarbanes Oxley, and corporate compliance issues. He represents clients in criminal and civil litigation involving allegations of criminal conduct, including corporate and civil counsel consultation on potential law enforcement exposures of corporate and other business entities. He also represents corporations and individuals in internal investigations and pre-indictment charge avoidance efforts, as well as in grand jury subpoena and testimony matters. In addition to being widely recognized for his legal skills, Edward holds leadership positions in a variety of professional organizations. He also has lectured numerous seminars on criminal defense throughout the country and has appeared on Larry King Live, CNN Crossfire, and many other national broadcasts.
